Knowledge Factory is a daylong festival celebrating the power of knowledge and insights. Men and women from different walks of life and a plethora of experiences come to this fun conference as knowledge seekers and knowledge givers. A tradition of this conference has been a quiz. The fourth edition is being held in partnership with the St Agnes College in Mangalore, as it celebrates its centenary year. The day comprises a mix of fireside chats, celebrity conversations, keynotes, and some entertainment, besides lunch for attendees.
One of the key components of this smartly curated platform is the QUIZ which is conducted by one of the best quizmasters in the country. The quiz focuses on history – covering the World, Asia, India, Karnataka, and Mangalore.
Knowledge Factory Quiz Highlights:
- Only delegates who purchase a donor pass are eligible to participate. These are available till 7th Jan, at 7 pm. And can be bought online (see link at the bottom of this page). Or by contacting Chetana at 7411832240.
- Two make a team. A single person team is not allowed. Children below 18 are not allowed unless both the team members are below 18.
- If you would like to participate in the quiz kindly send a mail with Quiz Team in the subject line to knowfactind@gmail.com with the names of both participants in the body copy of the mail by 8th January 8 pm
- Preliminary Quiz will be in writing and will take place at 8:15 am at the Prelims Quiz room on the first floor at the new Centenary Block. Carry your pens for this 20-minute ritual. This is on 10th January.
- Four teams will qualify for the finals and the names of the teams will be announced when the programme breaks for lunch at 1 pm.
- The finals will commence at 4:45 pm. It consists of 8 rounds for the four teams.
- The winning team will get Rs 30,000/- in cash
- The runner up team will get Rs 20,000/- in cash
